On Sunday the 9th of December 2007, the Geelong Disc Golf Club held it’s first ever the ‘ANNE-HYZER DRYZDALE CLASSIC’ event at the newly discovered Drysdale Reserve, located 10 minutes drive from Eastern Park. This new area offers a significantly different experience to most courses in Australia and provides some interesting challenges. Players played 6 baskets on 18 tees including some very tight technical holes and some great opportunities for big arms to let loose as well.

From all of us at the Geelong Disc Golf Club, we’d like to sincerely thank everyone for participating in our first ever Disc Golf event at Eastern Park. The day was a complete success, and we’re already hard at work planning future Disc Golf days for the Geelong and Victorian Community.
